The Saudi Hajj Security Forces are at the highest level of readiness and ready to tackle any threats that will disrupt the 2025 Hajj pilgrims from performing their rituals safely.
The Director of Public Security and Chairman of the Hajj Security Committee, Lieutenant-General Mohammad bin Abdullah Al-Bassami, stated this in his remarks when members of the Forces displayed their readiness to ensure a hitch-free 2025 Hajj pilgrimage at a military parade in Makkah on Saturday, the 4th of Dhul Hijjah.
The annual Hajj readiness event parade was inspected by the Saudi Minister of Interior and Chairman of the Supreme Hajj Committee, Prince Abdulaziz Bin Saud Bin Naif Bin Abdulaziz, where several military drills and maneuvers, as well as weapons and equipment assemblage, were showcased.
The forces well kitted in military uniforms with morale upped and motivated by the gravity of their mission, in batches, displayed their readiness to ensure a safe and peaceful 2025 Hajj exercise as pilgrims prepare for the holy ritual in the coming days.
They assembled in large numbers for the annual hajj military readiness parade in Makkah, exhibiting their capability to implement the comprehensive security plan for the 2025 Hajj pilgrimage.

The Saudi Minister of Interior and Chairman of the Supreme Hajj Committee, Abdulaziz Bin Saud Bin Naif Bin Abdulaziz, inspects the readiness of the forces alongside other princes and senior officials.
Bearing in mind the task to safeguard pilgrims, they took turns to march in precise formation, showcasing discipline and coordination.
They also performed complex maneuvers and drills, highlighting both their physical fitness and technical expertise.
From live-fire demonstrations simulating tactics against armed attackers, to firefighting exercises and aerial flypasts, the display underscores their operational capabilities.
The exercise was a powerful show of strength, which saw the security forces, weapons, equipment, and vehicles paraded one after another.
Medics, firefighters, emergency responders, and cybersecurity teams were part of the show of force as they also stayed ready to play their parts.
The parade is the Saudi government’s largest military display, held annually in the week leading up to the Hajj pilgrimage.
The Director of Public Security, Lieutenant-General Mohammad bin Abdullah Al-Bassami, revealed that the leadership has mobilized all capabilities to serve Hajj and care for the pilgrims, noting that the forces are at the highest level of readiness and fully capable of responding to any threats to pilgrims’ safety and security.
As millions of pilgrims from around the world converge on the holy land for the 2025 Hajj, this readiness exercise by the Hajj Security Forces remains crucial as the safety of the pilgrims is the government’s top priority.
With this, the Saudi authorities have demonstrated their readiness to facilitate a smooth Hajj experience for pilgrims this year to forestall any deadly incident. To ensure safety, they urged this year’s pilgrims to cooperate with authorities and adhere to established regulations or face the consequences of legal action or deportation.
