President Bola Tinubu on Tuesday recieved the remains of his predecessor, Muhammadu Buhari, in Katsina State, for burial in his hometown Daura. 

Buhari died in London on Sunday, July 13, 2025, at 82, following a prolonged illness.

Tinubu declared a seven-day national mourning period from Sunday, July 13, with flags flying at half-staff nationwide.
