The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced that candidates can now print their examination slips ahead of the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

It said the slip contains essential details such as venue, date, and time, granting them access to the examination hall.

JAMB announced this in a post on its X handle on Thursday, advising candidates to visit its website for further details.

“Attention 2026 UTME Candidates: This is to notify you that Examination Slip Printing is now available,” JAMB wrote.

“The slip contains details of the venue, date, and time of your examination and gives you access to the examination hall. Kindly visit our website at https://jamb.gov.ng and click on 2026 Slip Printing to print.”

A few weeks ago, the board held its mock exams to test the readiness of students and accredited Computer-Based Test (CBT) centres ahead of the UTME, which is scheduled to begin on 16 April and end on the 23rd.

During the mock exams, candidates suffered certain setbacks, from glitches in the network to power supply issues in some centres.

This led to concerns from Nigerians who questioned JAMB’s readiness for the 2026 UTME.

However, the JAMB Registrar, Ishaq Oloyede, said the mock exam was one of the best conducted by the body despite the technical problems that were reported during the exercise.

“It was one of the best that we have ever done. To me, there has been a jump in the number of CBT centres; we had 800 last year, we have 1,010 this year, and then 20 to 25, unfortunately, had their problems.

“For us, if we have fewer than 30 of 1,010 that had this problem, and the purpose is to test them, we are comfortable with that because since then, 20 of them were outright delisted because they did not perform to expectations,” the JAMB chief said on Wednesday’s edition of Channels Television’s Sunrise Daily.
