abia stateAbia State Governor Theodore Orji has commissioned the High Court Complex built by his administration to provide adequate office accommodation for the judiciary.

The two buildings located at Aba, the commercial city and Umuahia were completed within two years and the project is targeted at laying solid foundation for good governance and also bridge the gap in infrastructural development.

Governor Theodore Orji while Commissioning the court premises said that the objective of governance is to provide enabling environment for institutions that support democracy to thrive.

He equally expressed delight that the legacy projects embarked on by the administration had yielded a positive impact, which he claims would enable the incoming government to  focus on other more important aspects of the state.

In his own remarks, the Chief Judge of Abia State, Justice Theresa Uzokwe, said the complexes would help in quick dispensation of justice and decongestion of cases thereby drawing attention of the government to the need for court halls and other facilities in other judicial divisions and magisterial districts outside Umuahia and Aba.

These infrastructural projects put in place by the state government would support urban development and provide more facilities to speed up justice .
