The budget has 243.54 billion naira for development expenditure, 9.48 billion naira for personnel expenditure, 7.037 billion naira for recurrent expenditure and 877 million naira for non-capital expenditure.
This budget is higher than the N249.5 billion proposed by President Goodluck Jonathan to the national assembly last week.
Passing the budget before proceeding on a three week Christmas and end of year recess, the House inserted a provision which mandates the management of the commission to seek permission from the National Assembly before effecting any virement.
