The aviation regulatory body in Nigeria, the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has commenced the probe of an allegation that some oil marketers are selling dual purpose kerosene (DPK) to airlines as aviation fuel.

The NCAA has called for a meeting with some airlines and oil marketers to find out those perpetrating the act.

It would be recalled that the Major Oil Marketers Association of Nigeria (MOMAN) and the association of petroleum products marketers had separately petitioned the federal government, alleging the state of domestic kerosene to airlines as aviation fuel by some oil marketing firms.
