Unidentified gunmen opened fire on a church service, killing six people and wounding 10 in Gombe state.
According to Pastor Johnson Jauro of the Deeper Life Church in Nasarawa state, during a telephone interview with Reuters, “the attackers started shooting sporadically.
They shot through the window of the church, and many people were killed including my wife. Many of my members who attended the church service were also injured.”
This gun attack is coming after a warning from Islamist sect boko haram that Christians living in the north had three days to leave or they would be killed.
