The National Working Committee of the Peoples’ Democratic Party has asked organised labour and other groups to exercise restraint in their utterances and actions over the recent removal of fuel subsidy.
Speaking after the committee’s meeting in Abuja, the National Publicity Secretary of the party, prof. Ahmed Alkali, said Nigerians need to embrace the dialogue option already offered by the federal government.
While there could be real concerns over the policy he said Nigerians should understand that it is a patriotic decision taken by government in the interest of all Nigerians.
