Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party, Alhaji Bamanga Tukur says the immediate attention of the party is not the 2015 elections but that public officials of the party deliver on the party’s campaign promises to Nigerians.
The national chairman of the country’s ruling party, speaking at a meeting with journalists in Abuja, dismissed talk of an automatic ticket for any member of the party in any forthcoming election stating that only party members will decide the candidates for elections.
Alhaji Tukur gave an outline of his plan which he says is geared towards building a strong party that will be a foundation for the country’s development.
He said Nigerians should not speculate about the 2015 elections as that is in the future but concentrate on ensuring the country achieves its potentials.
