The crisis in the Kogi State House of Assembly is already taking its toll on the ruling party, as the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has suspend four elected members of the party for alleged anti-party activities.

The statement signed by the Kogi East Senatorial chairman, Mr Saidu Odoma accused the members of working against the peaceful resolution of the crisis in the State House of Assembly.

The suspended members are Honourable Abdullahi Zakari, Honourable Emmanuel Omebije, Honorable Yunusa Yakubu and Honourable Musa Idok.

All of them are from Kogi East Senatorial district.

The state House of Assembly has being enmeshed in political crisis since the  impeachment of the Speaker of the Assembly, Abdullahi Bello and ten other principal officers.
