Members of the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) in Osun West Senatorial District have declared their total support for the ambition of state Governor; Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola to contest for a second term in office in state’s gubernatorial election, scheduled for 2014.

From 110 wards in the 10 local government areas that makes up Osun West Senatorial District in the state of Osun, members of the ACN gathered at Iwo for the party meeting to deliberate on issues relating to the progress of the district.

The Senatorial chairman, Ishola Oyewunmi and other leaders of the party who spoke to Channels Television at the district party’s  meeting in Iwo, Osun state said members  of Osun West senatorial district were pleased with Aregbesola’s efforts at developing the state.

They vowed to vote for him in 2014 just as they did in 2007.

According to the party leaders, Mr Aregbesola’s achievement over the last 30 months in the state of Osun has remarkable and visible impact when compared with the 7 and half years of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) which ruled the state.

Affirming that the gubernatorial race was still far way in 2014 but the ACN members claim that early preparations and the developmental projects put in place by Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola will help the party clinch the seat again.
