A two time serving member of the House of Representatives and Chairman of the House Committee on Health, Ndudi Elumelu, has expressed confidence that he would emerge victorious as the governorship candidate of the People’s Democratic Party in Delta State.
Elumelu, who went to submit his Expression of Interest form at the headquarters of the People’s Democratic Party, said that his over seven years as lawmaker has been dedicated to bringing development and growth to his people and he is set to do more.
He said that his journey into the Delta State Government House was initiated by his desire to serve his people.
Amidst ongoing projects, Elumelu said that his major area of concentration would be the development of an efficient transport system for his people especially rail, to ease transportation of goods and services in the state.
Ndudi Elumelu, who had been representing the Aniocha-Osimili Federal Constituency of Delta State, was cheered by a crowd of supporters and well wishers who thronged the headquarters of the People’s Democratic Party in Abuja in support of their man.
Spurred by the support shown, he expressed optimism that he would emerge victorious.
