Some Nigerian workers from the public and organised private sector have besieged the premises of the Public Complaints Commission (PCC) to demand government’s intervention in their allegations of mistreatment by their employers.



Some of the workers, at the PCC in Abuja on Friday, alleged neglect by their employers after sustaining serious injuries in the line of duty.

Meanwhile, the Commissioners at the PCC assured the aggrieved workers that their complaints would be looked into with a view to seeking redress.

Addressing the workers, Mr Dahiru Bobo, who represented the Chief Commissioner assured the workers of speedy intervention

Although, the workers want their complaints addressed, the Commission said that some would be referred to other agencies.

According to the PCC, this is the first time the Agency is receiving such huge numbers of complaints from aggrieved citizens in a day.
