Resident doctors at the Federal Medical Centre in Makurdi, the Benue State capital have withdrawn their services in compliance with the directive by all state chapters of the association to join the nationwide strike.
The Head of Clinical Services at the hospital, Dr Paulinus Abu, disclosed this to Channels Television crew who were on ground to monitor the compliance with the directive issued by the national body.
Dr. Paulinus, however, says the hospital would continue to offer the services it can to members of the public pending when the strike is called off.
