Residents of Gbazango Community in Bwari Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory is asking the Nigerian Police to increase security surveillance in their area.

The residents made the appeal following reports of killings within the area.

The latest death is that of the mother of seven children, Deaconess Eunice Olawale.

Eyewitnesses told Channels Television that she was killed in the early hours of Saturday, July 9, during her routine morning preaching.

The residents confirmed that a few arrests have been made.

However, the FCT Command of the Nigerian Police is yet to confirm the deaths as well as the arrests made so far.

Deaconess Eunice Olawale was killed few days to her 42nd birthday.

For the past 16 years, she has lived with her husband, Pastor Elisha Olawale and seven children.
