Seven more schools on Wednesday booked their spots in the round of 16 of the Channels National Kids Cup Lagos Preliminaries.

At the Campos Square, X-Planter Primary School, Ikorodu recorded a huge 9-0 win over Abina Omololu Primary School to advance, Mao Primary School beat Mas-Mas by two goals to one, while Army Children dispatched St Paul 3-0.

At the Onikan Stadium, Green Haven lost to Troika 2-0 on penalties after both sides played a 1-1 draw in regulation time. Lyncrest also advanced 4-2 on penalties, following a goalless draw with Muslim Association Primary School.

Joining them in the next round is Methodist Primary School after they beat Rolex Children’s 3-0, while Community Primary School beat Infant Jesus 3-2 on penalties after drawing goalless in regulation time.

The schools that made it to the Last 16 of the Channels National Kids Cup Lagos Prelims include: X-Planter Primary School, Ikorudu; Mao Primary School, Lagos Island; Army Children, Abule Egba; Abina Omololu, Surulere; Troika, Lekki; Lyncrest Primary School, Ikorodu; Revival Primary School, Ikorodu; and Methodist Primary School, Ikorodu.

Others are: Community Primary School, Abule Egba; Donmen Primary School, Ajegunle; Badore Nursery And Primary School; Maryland Convent; Cms Primary School, Bariga; National Primary School, Yaba; Ajiran Primary School, Eti Osa; And St Jude Private School, Festac Town.
