Some leaders of the All Progressives Congress and those of the Peoples Democratic Party have applauded the leadership quality of former Military President, General Ibrahim Babangida (rtd).
The politicians made the commendation at the wedding ceremony of General Babangida’s daughter in Minna, the Niger State capital.
Some dignitaries at the event include former President Goodluck Jonathan; the Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki; Speaker of the House of Assembly, Honourable Yakubu Dogara, and a former Governor of Lagos State, Bola Tinubu, among others.
The leaders described the former president as a bridge builder who did everything possible to unite the country during his regime.
They asked political leaders in the country to emulate his leadership style and selfless service to the nation.
Other dignitaries at the ceremony include the Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi II; Imo State Governor, Rochas Okorocha; Osun State Governor, Rauf Aregbesola, and a former Governor of Ogun State, Gbenga Daniel.
