President Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday received Rotary Polio Champion Award.
The award was presented to him by the Rotary International President, Barry Rassin at the presidential villa in Abuja.
According to a statement signed by the Special Adviser to the President Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, the prestigious Polio Champion Award was given to the President in recognition of his commitment to polio eradication in Nigeria.
Rotary International President is currently in Nigeria on a four-day official visit .
