The PDP in Oyo state has swept at least 30 local government areas as the counting of votes continues at the head office of the Oyo State Independent Electoral Commission (OYSIEC) in Ibadan.
Results from Ibarapa East are pending as some unresolved issues are delaying the decision. There were reports of violent disruptions during the election at Ibarapa East yesterday and that could be part of the reason for the delay.
The Chairman of OYSIEC, Isiaq Olagunju in his address told journalists that the Ido Local Government election earlier rescheduled for Sunday would have to be postponed again to May 29.

So far, the ruling PDP has won in all the 30 local governments announced.
