Kaduna Bandits Attack: NSCDC Offers Automatic Employment To Spouses Of Personnel Killed

The NSCDC also presented Cheques to the families of the victims.


 

The Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has offered automatic employment to families of seven of its personnel that were killed by bandits in Kaduna state.

The seven NSCDC personnel were killed during an ambush by bandits at a mining site at Kuriga village in Birnin Gwari local government area of kaduna state on January 10th, 2023.

The bandits also killed scores of other security agents during the attack.

However, speaking when he met with the spouses and relatives of the slain personnel in Kaduna, the Commandant General of NSCDC, Ahmed Audi described their death as a colossal loss to the Corps, their families and the country in general.

The NSCDC boss also presented Cheques to the families of the victims as well as announce the immediate employment of spouses or relatives of the seven victims into the Corps, as a mark of compensation for the families.

He assured those present and Nigerians in general that the setback will not deter the Corps from discharging its mandate of maintaining peace and security in communities across the country even as he charged officers and men of the Corps to redouble their efforts in their assigned missions.
