Thirty-five students of Fakunle Comprehensive High School, Osogbo, Osun State have been discharged from the hospital after inhaling tear gas fired by mobile policemen.
The students were said to have been rushed to the hospital in the early hours of Tuesday when police operatives used tear gas during a morning drill.

The school which is located around Osogbo township stadium and facing the 39 Squadron Divisions of mobile policemen along Osogbo-Ikirun road was affected by the breeze of the tear-gas.
Findings by Channels Television revealed that the students were inside the classroom when the teargas breezed in causing commotion among the students and the teachers of the school.
The Permanent Secretary Osun State Ministry of Education Adelani Aderinola, in a phone conversation with Channels Television, said all the students who were affected by the tear gas have been discharged and are in good health.
The spokesperson of Osun State Police Command, Yemisi Opalola also confirmed that the affected students affected have been treated and discharged.
Opalola also said that the police did not fire the teargas inside the school premises but they were just using it for their drill.
