Matawalle Lauds Sokoto Govt’s Support In Fight Against Insecurity

He also pledged to support the effort of President Bola Tinubu towards ending all forms of violent crimes in the region and beyond.

The Minister of State for Defence Muhammad Bello Matawalle has commended the collaborative efforts of the Sokoto State governor Ahmad Aliyu in the fight against insecurity.

Matawalle said this when he – alongside Aliyu –  inspected the air component of the fight against banditry and terrorists operating in the North-West region.

The minister said continued support by governors of the North-West would facilitate the early victory against all forms of criminalities in the region.

He singled out Governor Aliyu for donating facilities to house some of the equipment of the air component of the war as well as donating operational vehicles and other logistics support for the military fighting the terrorists.

On his part, the governor reaffirmed the commitment of his administration to supporting the military and other security agencies operating in the state.

He also pledged to support the effort of President Bola Tinubu towards ending all forms of crimes in the region and beyond.
