The Acting Inspector-General of Police, Mr Ibrahim Idris, has appointed CSP Jimoh Moshood as the Deputy Force Public Relations Officer.
A statement by the Police on Monday said CSP Moshood takes over from CSP Sogbeba West, who has since been posted to the Rivers State Command.
The appointee hails from Ilorin South of Kwara State and holds a degree in Political Science from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria in Kaduna State.
He was once a spokesman for the Abuja Command, the position which earned him Commissioner of Police’ Commendation Letter for diligent and excellent performance.
Until his recent appointment, Moshood was the Chief Superintendent of Police in charge of the Department of Finance and Administration, FCT Abuja.
He has since assumed duty as the Deputy Force Public Relations Officer for the Nigeria Police.
