APGA LogoThe leadership of the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) has said it will produce leaders to fill the various political positions in the State despite the presence of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) and the All Progressives Congress.

APGA leaders made this known at the sensitisation tour organised to garner support in Ngor Okpala local government area of the state. They advised citizens to put into good use the opportunity provided by the 2015 general elections to elect credible leaders and promised to sweep out the current governor, who belongs to the APC.

Party faithful, young, old, men and women had gathered at Umuneke Ngor Community in Ngor Okpala local government area for the first APGA sensitisation rally in the area by chieftains of the party at the state level.

While addressing the crowd of party supporters a chieftain of the party and former Minister for Interior, Emmanuel Iheanacho, who recently joined the party from PDP, said one of the major problems of democracy in the state is because electorates have refused to cast their votes wisely and also protect their votes, he said such attitude had given rise to bad leadership and unemployment in the state.

He further stated that the choice of political platform or party no doubt plays a major role in changing the lives and well-being of citizens through a well cut out mass oriented manifestos just like the All Progressive Grand Alliance. He enjoined the people to identify with  APGA in the next election as it remains the only party that can tackle the problem of poverty, insecurity and unemployment in the state.

Some other prominent members of the party in Ngor Okpala local government area including Blyden Amajirionwu said APGA is a popular and traditional party and the only party that will give a level playing ground to politicians as well as deliver the dividends of democracy to the people.
