Designer John Kaveke from Kenya shined at the Arise Magazine Fashion Week in Lagos on Thursday, thrilling fashion lovers with his unique combination of patterns and bold colours.
The Kenyan designer displayed looks from the autumn/winter 2012 collection of his self-named label Kaveke.
“It feels great to be invited to showcase my work in Nigeria,” said Kaveke. “I’m excited to be included in this wealth of fashion talent that seeks to show what African fashion is all about.”
The collection which Kaveke titled “The Last Age of Elegance” is inspired by the end of an era, “and the birth of the African King Swagger”. The collection has definitely got “swag”, right?
