Newest call-up into the national team; the Super Eagles of Nigeria, Kalu Uche has signalled his return to the team with his 17th club goal yesterday.

The Nigerian international who plays for Kasimpasa in the Turkish League scored Kasimpasa’s second goal in the 71st minute in a 3-2 loss away to Antalyaspor.

According to the Nigerian international, the national call-up which he got was not something he expected as it came across to him as a surprise.

The former Eagles player has been on a national duty drought for almost 16 months now and with his 17th goal for his Turkish club, the Nigerian is now second top scorer in the Turkey Super Lig a feat that has put the player in a better light with National soccer.
