The Governor of Cross River state, Liyel Imoke, who recently returned from a long stay abroad, held an elaborate thanksgiving service with friends and family for the upkeep of his life.
Mr Imoke was in the US for a couple of months where he was convalescing from an undisclosed ailment.
The event which held in the governor’s lodge was attended by the General Overseer of Faith Tabernacle (Winner’s Chapel); Bishop David Oyedepo and the Governor of Akwa Ibom state, Mr Godswill Akpabio.
Bishop Oyedepo during his short sermon emphasised the need for thanksgiving in people’s lives.
