The Kwara State Governor, Abdulfattah Ahmed has sworn in two new High Court judges in Ilorin, the state capital.

While swearing in the new justices, he charged them to always handle cases with dispatch and sincerity of purpose, to justify the confidence reposed in them.

The governor urged them to be conscious of the fact that justice delayed is justice denied, adding that their positions call for hard work and commitment. He also reiterated the commitment of government to promote rule of law every time.

The governor assured of the government’s effort to reform the judicial sector in order to ensure quick dispensation of justice. He warned those he tagged trouble makers to stay away from the state, as security agencies and judiciary will thwart their effort and bring them to book.

The two justices sworn in are Justice Adenike Akinpelu and Justice Aminat Ishaq.
