APC’s candidate in the Osun governorship election, Rauf Aregbesola has commended the peaceful conduct of the election in the state so far.

He said that the large turn out and the peaceful manner in which the electorates have conducted themselves should be commended

Clad in white and in the company of his wife and some members of his immediate family, the Governor got accredited at around 10.45 am at his ward 08 unit 01 Ifofin polling unit in Ilesa East Local Government Area of the state.

In Ife/Ijesa Senatorial district, which is the senatorial district of the State Governor, Rauf Aregbesola, accreditation of eligible voters commenced at around 8am with an impressive turn out of voters.

The situation was the same at the ward 08 polling unit 1 ifofin polling unit where the governor cast his vote some minutes ago.

In all the situation remained calm as residents go about the process without any rancour.

The Governor, however, condemned the alleged arrest of some leaders of the party, saying this may undermine the credibility of the Osun election process.
