The Ogun State Governor, Ibikunle Amosun, has announced Mrs Yetunde Onanuga,  from Ijebu Igbo in Ogun East Senatorial District as his running mate in the 2015 governorship election in the state.

Mr Onanuga, 54, will replaces Prince Segun Adesegun who serves as the current deputy governor of the state

At a meeting held on Tuesday at the Gateway Hall in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital, the Governor said her nomination became imperative in order to give all sections of the state good representation and a sense of belonging

In her response,the governor’s running mate pledged her loyalty to the governor, the party and party leadership, promising that she would not betray the confidence reposed in her by the party’s leadership.

Mrs Onanuga is the current Director of Finance and Administration in the Lagos State Ministry of Environment.
