The National Emergency Management Agency, NEMA, says it has recovered two bodies from a passenger bus which plunged into Arun River, Ogere, Ijebu East Local Government of Ogun State on Wednesday.

Speaking on this development and the effort made to salvage the remains of the deceased, the South West Coordinator of the agency, Mr Ibraheem Farinloye, said that there were two people inside the bus when it lost control and plunged into the river.

Mr Farinloye said that it took the combined effort of Police, Federal Roads Safety Commission (FRSC), local divers and volunteers and others to effect the recovery of the bodies.

He added that the search and rescue mission had been completed.
