The Yobe state chapter of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) has asked the Federal Government to do all it can to secure the release of the remaining Dapchi Schoolgirl, Leah Sharibu, who is still in captivity with Boko Haram terrorists.
Briefing newsmen on Friday in Damaturu the Yobe state capital, the state CAN Secretary, Mr Bright Ogbansiegbe said the association was dismayed by the fact that Leah was held back on the ground that she must denounce her Christian faith for Islam.

CAN also thanked Nigerians for their prayers but pleaded with the President and those involved in the negotiation to intervene in ensuring the release of Leah Sharibu.
