President Muhammadu Buhari is currently presiding over a virtual meeting of the Federal Executive Council (FEC).

The President presided over the virtual meeting from the Council Chamber of the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

This is the sixth time members of the council will be meeting virtually since the lockdown declared to curtail further spread of COVID-19.

At the meeting, a total of six memos and two scorecards for the past year were presented to the council.

Meanwhile, the Minister of Justice gave an update on the Wadume case as he was being accused of shielding the 10 soldiers who allegedly killed three policemen in Taraba State on August 6, 2019 from trial.

Malami explained that in the Wadume case, the 10 soldiers are not being shielded from prosecution, instead the ministry is trying to ensure proper military processes are consummated where the soldiers are either court-martialed internally or handed over to the courts for trial.
