A Nigerian couple has captured public attention after exchanging vows aboard a moving Lagos–Ibadan train in what many have described as a refreshing twist on traditional weddings.
The bride, Sharon Ifunanya, an events planner, and her groom, Nollywood actor Shawn Faqua, turned one of the train coaches into a wedding venue, complete with floral décor, bridesmaids, groomsmen, guests, and officiating ministers.
Videos from the ceremony, which took place aboard a Lagos–Ibadan train departing from the Mobolaji Johnson Station in Alagomeji-Yaba, Lagos, have gone viral across social media, sparking admiration for the couple’s creativity.
