Fasoranti made his intention known in a formal letter addressed to Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa, where he also tendered his resignation from the state executive council.

Fasoranti, a medical practitioner, noted that his over three decades of experience in the profession, alongside his service in public institutions, have prepared him for the task ahead.
He highlighted his time at the State House Medical Centre in Abuja, where he rose to the directorate level before retiring in 2024, as well as his role in health sector administration and his recent service as Secretary to the Ondo State government.
According to him, these experiences have provided him with deep insights into governance, policy implementation, and effective service delivery, which he intends to bring to bear if elected.
The former SSG emphasised his commitment to people-oriented representation, stressing that governance must be inclusive, practical, and impactful. He said his ambition is to ensure that the voices of Ondo Central constituents are heard and translated into meaningful action at the national level.
He underscored his involvement in humanitarian and professional initiatives, noting that they have strengthened his resolve to improve lives and build sustainable systems within society.
Dr Fasoranti appealed to the people of Ondo Central Senatorial District—including Ondo West, Ondo East, Ifedore, Akure South, Akure North, and Idanre—to support his aspiration, promising purposeful representation and a focus on shared progress and development.
He stated: “As I step forward in this journey, I do so with a clear vision to provide purposeful representation, listen to the aspirations of our people, and translate those aspirations into meaningful action.”
Fasoranti pledged that under his leadership, the voice of the people would be transformed into tangible results.
