Speaking with newsmen on Monday in Lagos, the defence chief asked Nigerians join in the effort to fight terrorism.

He called on resident to come forward with any information that will aid security agents in foiling the efforts of the group.

The call for all to be alert comes as Nigeria police today confirmed that 10 cars loaded with unexploded devices were found across the city in Kano city, only two days after the city had suffered major attacks by the Boko Haram sect.

Some reports put the number of unexploded bombs found by police officers at about 100. Police say the bombs have been defused, averting further attacks in northern Nigeria’s largest city.
