
He explained that the whole idea is to turn out highly skilled officers that will assist the nation in the fight against insecurity in the northern part of the country.
Air Vice Marshal Ifemeje, who gave the assurance after assuming office as the 20th commandant of the college, said that terror related courses are likely to be encapsulated for study in the face of the security challenges facing the nation.
On his part, the outgoing commandant, Air Vice Marshal Eko Osim, highlighted some of the achievements and challenges recorded during his administration. He wished that he was able to record more successes than he did.
With the assurances by the new commandant to lift the college to an enviable height, the staff and indeed the students are hoping that such promises would be translated into a positive action that would propel them to re-dedicate themselves to the primary aim of setting up the college, which is to enable the nation attain its defence objectives.
