The Senate Committee on FCT has called for the immediate revocation of plots of land that were allegedly reallocated by the Federal Capital Development Authority, (FCDA) to some members of the National Assembly.

This was revealed by the Chairman of the Committee, Senator Dino Melaye during the hearing of a petition filed by Falana & Falana Chambers, on behalf of Immanuel Investment Limited.

Senator Melaye said the committee discovered from investigations, that after some houses were demolished along Lugbe, a satellite town in Abuja, the plots of land were allegedly reallocated to some senators and members of the House of Representatives in the 7th Assembly.
