Lawmakers in the House of Representatives have called on the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRCN) to halt its plan to introduce the compulsory use of speed limit devices in the country.
The House has mandated a Committee to meet with the agency to understand why the planned introduction should not be cancelled altogether.
The sponsor of the motion, Representative Philip Shaibu says the device has been used in other African countries and abandoned.
