Elections: DSS Warns Politicians, Youths To Shun Violence

DSSThree men suspected to be engaged in blackmail of highly placed Nigerians in order to extort money from them have been paraded by the Department of State Services (DSS).

Addressing a news conference in Abuja on the fraudulent activities of the three-man gang, Spokesman of the DSS, Mr Abdullahi Garba, warned mischief makers and self-appointed security experts who claim expertise on sensitive security matters to beware of their actions. He said that the Service will not hesitate to deal with such persons.

The alleged leader of the three-man gang, Hussaini Monguno, however denied the allegation against them, claiming they never blackmailed or attempted to blackmail any Nigerian.

“I have never gone to any individual or any group to claim that I am a Colonel soliciting for money. That’s not true. I have never done that before,” he said.
