VandalsFive suspected vandals have been arrested by officers of the Ogun State Command of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC).

The arrest was made during an overnight patrol around Ibafo/Obafemi Owode Local Government Area of the state.

They were all arrested on Wednesday at pipeline area around Ibafo area of the state.

The suspects are: Banwo Olaide, Kabiru Rahimi, Tunde Rahimi, Disu Toheeb and Jamiu Koleosho.

Commenting on the arrest, the Ogun State Commandant of the NSCDC, Mr Aboluwoye Akinkinwade, said that it would not be business as usual.

Mr Akinkinwade noted that effective strategies had been put in place by the Command to check the menace of vandalism in the state.

Exhibits recovered from the suspects include: two Ford buses with registration number, Lagos – GGE 943XL and another with registration number Lagos – APP 123XH, 87 50 litres kegs containing Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), five handsets and a sum of 50,000 Naira cash.
