Elections: DSS Warns Politicians, Youths To Shun Violence

The Department of State Security Service in Rivers State have arraigned two persons for allegedly participating in the murder of their officer, Garrick Oyaghiri.

Mr Oyaghiri was killed in Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Local Government Area in Rivers State.

The Security Service also arraigned one for allegedly shooting to death one Bright Iruanya in Okrika Local Government Area in the state.

The DSS has asked the court to punish the suspects in line with Section 319 of the Criminal Code Laws of Rivers State 1999.

However, the Chief Magistrate, Barasinpi Jamabo, who presided over the matter adjourned the matter to August 11, 2016 and ordered the suspects to be remanded in prison.
