Former President Olusegun Obasanjo for the first time paid a courtesy visit to Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun at his Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta office on Thursday.
The former President, who spoke to journalists after a closed-door meeting with the governor, said that his visit is to present issues that are related to the development of the state.

Obasanjo stated that his visit was to raise “a few issues that I believe are of interest to the development of Ogun state in the area of education, agriculture, rural development and we had a wonderful discussion.”
When asked about his opinion on the administration of Governor Abiodun since his victory in 2019, Obasanjo stated that he was not there to “do an assessment; but has come to do promotion of what will move Ogun state forward.”
