No Eviction This Week As Rooboy Emerges HOH

This marks the second ‘no eviction week’ of the "10/10" season, the first occurring in late July during the opening week of the reality show.

22 housemates remain in the Big Brother house after seven exits over the past three weeks.

This week in Big Brother Naija Season 10, Kayode “Rooboy” Olatunde emerged as Head of House (HoH) and drew a trinket that nullified all nominations, saving all 22 housemates from possible eviction.

Rooboy, who dethroned Jason Jae as the Week 5 interim HoH, went on to draw from Biggie’s Tree of Trinkets after winning the challenger game.

To the surprise of all, he revealed the “Nullify Nominations” card, instantly cancelling the week’s eviction process.

“No evictions, no tears! HoH Rooboy shook the game by picking ‘nullify nominations’ from Biggie’s Tree of Trinkets, which means every single housemate is safe this week,” Biggie announced.

Before the trinket twist, Biggie had revealed that Faith, Ivatar, Sultana, Tracy, and Thelma Lawson were up for possible eviction following the traditional nomination process, which had been reintroduced on Monday.

The announcement heightened the relief that swept the house when Rooboy’s draw nullified all nominations.

More Warnings Issued

Despite the reprieve, tension quickly returned as Biggie reminded housemates of the importance of rules.

Microphone infringement warnings were issued to Bright Morgan, Doris, Isabella, Kola, Mensan, Rooboy, Sultana, and Thelma Lawson.

While some looked shocked, the atmosphere grew even more intense when Sultana was absent during the warning.

After a five-second countdown, Biggie confirmed that she would face an additional punishment.

Rooboy’s HoH victory not only guarantees him immunity but also came with an extra highlight: Mensan secured safety as the most influential player of the week, while Mide, nicknamed the “house snail” for her poor performance in the HoH game, was automatically placed on the chopping block before the trinket twist nullified all evictions.

This marks the second ‘no eviction week’ of the season, the first occurring in late July during the opening week of the show.

BBN Season 10 housemates, Gigi Jasmine and Victory Okokon were evicted from the reality show on August 24, 2025.

Meanwhile, last Sunday’s live eviction, hosted by media personality Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, saw Nicole Simon-Ogan, known as Gigi Jasmine, and Victory Okokon exit the competition after polling the lowest votes in week four.

Their departure followed earlier evictions of Otega and Kayikunmi, as well as exits by Ibifubara and Danboskid, while Sabrina voluntarily withdrew on medical grounds.

Season 10, which premiered in July with one of the largest casts in the show’s history, continues to deliver drama, strategy, and unexpected twists as the game unfolds.

Now in its fifth week, the contest for the ₦150 million grand prize has narrowed from 29 housemates at launch to 22.
