Manchester City Boss Roberto Mancini has finally voiced out concerning the comment by one of his major players in the midfield, Ivorien Yaya Toure saying he would like to end his career with his former the Spanish Barcelona.
His Italian boss in clear terms said the Ivorien will not be leaving City as he will not be letting him leave because he is one of the major players the club has, also he is one of the reasons why City achieved so much this season because he is an integral part of the club.
Toure has played an integral part in City’s success this season, scoring both goals in the 2-0 victory over Newcastle last weekend that left them on the brink of becoming Premier League champions.
He now wants to help City become the best club in the world, but has also stated this week that he would relish the opportunity to one day return to Barca.
Toure spent three years at Camp Nou before joining City and has never made any secret of his love for the Catalan club, but Mancini insists that does not mean he will be going anywhere.
Mancini believes the remarks have been misinterpreted and the Ivory Coast international, signed from Barca for £24million, is still enjoying life in Manchester.
“Maybe he said he likes Barca because he played there, Barca is the best team in the world.
“But I think he is happy here. I don’t think he can leave Manchester City.”
